My decision to run for State Representative stems from a profound commitment to our communities and a deep-seated desire to confront the pressing issues facing our district head-on. As a lifelong resident of the 81st District, I've witnessed firsthand the strengths and struggles of our neighborhoods. Inspired by a commitment to safeguard our communities and foster a brighter future for our families, I've chosen to step forward and offer my service.
If elected, I will work tirelessly to address our state’s critical challenges, always upholding the principles of honesty and transparency. My plan includes supporting law enforcement with essential resources, combating crime, and ensuring families feel secure in their homes. Moreover, I'll champion measures to revitalize our economy, cut taxes, attract and keep businesses, and promote transparency in government. As a parent, I'll prioritize policies empowering families, ensuring access to quality education, and supporting parental choices. Together, let's forge a path towards a brighter tomorrow for all residents of the 81st District, built on a foundation of integrity and honesty.
Rising costs of everyday essentials are making it tougher for families to afford and enjoy their lives.
I want to make sure our kids can afford to live in the neighborhood they grew up in. Unfortunately, reckless policies in Springfield are forcing taxpayers to shoulder more and more of the costs, such as tax rates tied to inflation, while less and less of those taxes are returning to our communities.
Families in our area are spending more on property taxes, but we are getting less every year.
Burdensome and unfunded state mandates, along with failed promises, are forcing local governments to make up the difference on your dollar. Less intervention from Springfield means more money in your pocket and more control over your own life.
Having started a small business, I know firsthand the challenges entrepreneurs face. We must empower entrepreneurs and local businesses to thrive in our community and state.
To make Illinois attractive, we need to grow our tax base by welcoming new residents and businesses, not by increasing tax rates. We educate our youth here; we must also provide opportunities that encourage them to stay, work, and thrive in Illinois.
Crime rates are rising in Illinois. Out-of-town crime and ineffective policies in Springfield are making our communities increasingly less safe.
Safety in our communities requires proactive policies that equip our law enforcement officers with the tools to prevent crime and provide them with comprehensive training and mental health resources to serve and protect effectively.
